I had a wonderful stay at a cozy and comfortable cottage in an excellent location. The views of the river were breathtaking, and it was so convenient to be close to the town centre while still enjoying a quiet atmosphere. The cottage was warm and inviting, and the free WiFi was a great bonus. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as some dated aspects of the interior and a slightly musty smell upon entering, I found the cottage to be well-maintained and clean. The electric heaters in the bedrooms and downstairs fire in the lounge kept me warm during the chilly weekend. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the convenience of having a well-equipped kitchen. The location was ideal, with plenty of shops, eateries, and pubs within walking distance. Plus, there were several beautiful country walks accessible right from the cottage. I especially enjoyed exploring the Forest of Dean, King Arthur caves, and the Merlin filming site, all just a short drive away. I would highly recommend this cottage for a cozy and comfortable getaway.

The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for our Christmas stay. The location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and pubs just a short walk away. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby Forest of Dean and the beautiful Cotswolds. Plus, the free WiFi was a great perk that kept us connected during our stay.
The cottage felt quite dated and had a musty smell when we first arrived. Some of the glasses and cutlery were dirty, and the towels had a strange odor.

This place is absolutely amazing! The location is mind-blowing, with jaw-dropping views of the river. It's close to the town center, yet peaceful and quiet. The cottage itself is super cozy and warm, with free WiFi that came in handy. I couldn't believe how well-equipped it was, and it was spotlessly clean. The owners should definitely stay here themselves to see how perfect it is. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. Absolutely loved it!

The value for money at Columbine Cottage was exceptional. The room was cozy, clean, and had a lovely view of the river. The location was perfect, with the town just a few minutes' walk away and beautiful country walks nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Staying at this cozy place was a rare joy. Spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and homely. Owners should try it themselves to know what's missing or not working. Excellent location, shops, eateries, and pubs within walking distance. Plenty of country walks nearby. Also, easy access to Forest of Dean and TV series Merlin's filming site. Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Cotswolds a short drive away.
Felt great, nothing too much trouble.
